Can you recommend a company to fit Trackers / alarms in the Birmingham / Coventry area. Must be able to supply an insurance approved installation certificate. Cheers.

Alarm will only be for peace of mind. Will make no difference to the insurance is a tracker is fitted.
The tracker is a recovery tool, where as the alarm is a deterent. I haven't heard of any cases where the tracker has notified someone in time to stop a theft (probably does happen) they do text if someone rocks the bike. I have both but still don't take any chances, always chained to something, takes less than 30 seconds to drag it into a van.
You misunderstand matt. Yes the tracker gets you a discount, but if you have an alarm generally you don't get a discount applied for having that fitted too. The majority of insurance companies only apply a discount for one device. when I bought my 848 the ground anchor got me the bigger discount, they weren't bothered about the alarm. Haven't even bothered with one for the diavel.
