Yup, that time of the year again. I'm sure you already know how it works, but for the benefit of the non ex-Ducatisti, you sign up by 6pm Saturday, 30 November, on this thread. On that date, I'll retire into the study with a glass of whisky and laptop and I'll draw names out of a Xmas red helmet and randomly match them against each other, and inform each Santa of his/her victim's name and address (don't forget to PM me yours so Santa knows where to send the present) by PM. The only person to know the hapless victim's name and address, apart from me, is the Santa him/herself. Presents to the value of appx £10, unless you're feeling particularly generous and the perfect present for your victim is more expensive. As it's the age of the internet, those from the Colonies and other countries are welcome to join in the fun, as e.g., Amazon delivers abroad at decent postage. Again, following traditions, there will be a thread where peeps can post suggested presents they'd love to see under their tree. Try to post on that thread to give those who might not know you that well some idea, unless you really want some edible panties or Santa socks for Xmas. Having said that, another tradition from the good old Ducatisti days is that the presents are thoughtful and not rude, so they can be opened en famille.
