  1. I'm getting even more excited by the day now. Russ from DMC Moto emailed me to let me know there shipping my bike this week and should be in and ready to build up by the end of next week. He's also ordered me the new Ducati satnav free of charge, he said that should arrive by the time they are ready to build up the bike and he will fit it for me then. Top man.

unfortunately I cant find a jacket to fit me because I'm fat, so I've joined a gym bought loads of diet stuff and have asked Russ to keep it in his show room until the start of next year. Sexy new bike n body here I come!

  3. Brave man taking it this time of year but would I do the same thing. Not arf!!!!!!!!! Enjoy pal.

  4. Meh. December 23rd 2006 I picked up my first bike in 21 years. a 2004 R1 with full acro exhaust and power commander plus a few other mods, rode it all that winter, So I'm hoping an S GT is a bit more suited to winter riding. Traction control, ABS, Slipper clutch, and power options should be better than an R1 with nothing to help you ride but being quick witted.

  5. No problem for winter, please don't loose sight....its an adventure bike ride it, enjoy it! Good luck, are the pans the same? Are they just black?...so there's now mechanical changes at all? Has it had the speedo sensor cable mod?

  6. I think it's had a few small updates from what I can remember but nothing structural. I shall find out about the speedo cable

  7. Well it's official after spending £1300 on new bike gear yesterday. I'm picking up my bike on Thursday.

  9. ....buy 1 get 2 free please!

  10. Ironically this is the bike that I rode 'by accident' and me now ordering a new GT. The owner bought it (more money than sense), didnt like the colour, had it painted, rode it for 800 miles, then traded it in as he no longer liked the bike.

  11. Congratz when's it coming? and what colour did you pick?

  12. Yup I just posted in your thread. I cant comment on an earlier model I've only ever ridden my multi.
If you like power and control then you wont be disappointed no mater what year you chose, good luck.

  13. That blue thing is pure gash, I hope that's a wrap not paint.

  14. It was painted. It was well done but certainly not my taste either.

  15. I was brought up to believe that ALL Ducatis should be red but talking to many owners and enthusiasts, it is surprising how much divergence of opinion there now is. In fact among the local group of riders out here red is probably the least favored color. Maybe it is because unlike the early days (90s) more color options are available.

  16. I've had a couple of reds and my PP is mostly red. I think the trellis frame looks a lot better in red, that is the Ducati signature to me. I have a matt black 749 and with plenty of carbon that is very stealth and it has grown on me. I couldn't buy a yellow or white Ducati. The stealth greys with a red frame maybe. Blue is weird, you're suffering Kundalini Syndrome with that one.

  17. I dont mind red, I have a red car (Audi S3) but really like the Dark Grey of the GT bike. PP is good too - black and white nice, I dont like the plain silver.
