Here's the thing about CVs: no matter who you show it to, they will say it is wrong. Whatever page layout you use, someone will always find fault with it. If you go into detail, it will be too much. If you don't, it will look odd. You really can't win. Best thing is to have one you are happy with and forget about it.

fine, just make sure you don't get those two,words the wrong way round or people with think you're an ornithological abuser... as GoG says with the cv, albeit it is sometimes worth getting one person to read it, someone whose opinions you listen to, just to give you a sense for how it feels/reads, and to double check for any obvious googlies, that might slip,in via the 'spell check' net.
