Termignoni full system

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by rlowe, Nov 18, 2013.

  1. I am hoping to change my 2011 Multi Touring S for a Pikes Peak in Jan/Feb. I am pondering whether I should spend the extra for a full Termignoni Exhaust system. Any comments much appreciated and does anyone know if it will effect my insurance premium.

  2. it shouldn't affect your insurance, but different owners got different experiences with this.
you should tell them though, or it wont be covered if its nicked.

Any system that replaces the cat is a bonus. Personally I don't like the look of the long termi can as much as some of the other systems, and they are a fair bit cheaper too.

  3. Do most multi owners just get a decat pipe and then add a slip on?

I think that's the way I would go personally, I've been eyeing a decat and a carbon leo vince, failing that the sc project system which looks incredibly loud (if things can even look loud)

full systems rarely add much on sportsbikes unless they're tuned well so I can't see the multi gaining much more than the ample amount it has already.

  4. Akrapovic or Termignoni then comes a long time nothing:wink:

  5. Just had the bike back after fitting full Termi, I've only started it up in the garage without db killer and nearly had an orgasm with the sound, can't wait to try it out tomorrow

  6. the best orgasm gets the police

  7. The 2013 with the built in engine re-map for the full Termi works perfectly, more power and torque everywhere, less weight, more glorious noise...what's not to like!

    Love mine :)

  8. The hole in the lower speed range

  9. +1 on all the above, love it

  10. And the upload remap saved a lot of time and money, sounds great, no "holes"

  11. No holes here. I used the 'upload' map on the stick that comes with the Termi. Think it's just a code key to activate the built in ECU full Termi map. If you don't use the 'key' to activate the map then of course you would run very lean and have poor fuelling.

Agreed, fuels perfectly at all revs and throttle openings, much better than the standard exhaust mapping.

  12. I got the full termi and have not regretted it...pic of bike in Spain and partially hidden termi!
