1199 Wheel Red tape for base model

  1. Hi, I'm new on here so apologies if this has been posted before - I had a look and could not see it.

    I've recently bought a base model 1199 but looking to buy the carbon front mudguard and the red wheel tape (I refrained from using "rim tape").

    Any help on where I can get the red wheel tape please - seen a few suppliers but would like to see if someone has done it already and what they bought was a good job.

  3. Loads for sale on a website called eBay. The tape usual comes in 4 sections (8 per wheel) Top tip when applying the tape wet the rim with soap water this allows you to manipulate the tape.

  5. Just my opinion , but I reckon it would look better leaving the front " wheel tape " off

  20. Go for the roll of tape with the application tool, about 7 quid delivered on ebay, piece of piss to fit and no extra edges to peel off like you get with the 4 piece kit.
