Yes, engine was slightly warm to the touch and throttle waswide open. On another note the low fuel light does not work so how manymiles can I get out of a tank of fuel before I need to fill up?
I fill up after 120 miles or there about, you could get 150 at a push but that would be risking it a bit, of course it all depends on your type of riding. Steve
Just been out on the bike to test the oil breather out forleeks and it all looks good, but now I have a new problem when I first set off theoil pressure light started to glow slightly after about a mile so I stopped turnedthe engine off and checked for any abnormal signs, but nothing. Oil light wentout so I set off again and it happened again so this time I headed home andchecked the oil level, the oil level was good. Out I went again rode for 10 miles and nothing this time,any ideas what this could be? Maybe a dodgy oil pressures switches or loseconnection? If the oil pressure dropped would the light not come onbright instead of glowing very faintly?
Probably the switch. Pull the connector and look for oil on it, and in the pressure switch itself. Quite common unfortunately.
Panic over checked the connector and it was a bit lose,cleaned it up and squashed the connector a bit and all fine now.
