I'm going this coming June for MotoGP and wondered if anyone had any advice on hotels, travel to the circuit, etc? Traveling to the circuit from the centre of Barcelona by train seems easy enough - anything to watch out for? Cheers Steve
I've been, get the bus from the airport to the centre of Barca don't get ripped off by a taxi….. stay in barcelona the area near to the port at the bottom of the Ramblas is entertaining…..avoid the red light area….. use the train to the circuit from the city centre… thats easy enough….enjoy,
we did it last year as part of the family holiday, we stayed in cambrils about 100km away but drove up for the saturday and sunday, saturday was much better craic the crowd and atmosphere was brilliant. Sunday the traffic was a nighmare but you need to be in early if you want a good vantage point but still a great day out.#
Hotel Barcelo Raval is very nice, happy to recommend it, and there's a great little bar across the road that only the locals seem to use. Seriously, if your on La Ramblas hide your wallet and phone or they will go missing.
