  1. A few bits to sell here. 853R motor with corse heads and waisted valves. on valve was bent a couple of months ago and the head with a new valve will be rebuilt this week (hopefully!). Currently in a 1997 748 sp chassis (with V5) and ohlins rear shock and swingarm. The corse rideheight adjuster will be changed out for a standard one. Renthal QA sprocket hub to be removed. Front sprocket to be removed. No oil cooler. Heads are set up to run with standard throttle bodies.

Forks not included (can come with standard showas)
    slipper clutch not included
    Triple clamps not included
Brakes not included (front or rear)
Wheels not included (I can supply a set of bronze tatty 3 spokes - no discs)
    Front sprocket not included
Rear sprocket and QA not included.
No loom (though i may have one - will have to figure out what is what in the pile I have)
    No oil cooler included
Breather valve has been cored - needs a new one if running without a corse breather tank
    No rear subframe

Lots of parts by negotiation - including tatty radiator, standard TB's, 50mm 996 TB's, standard clutch, 3 spoke wheels, showa forks, body kits (no tank), rear sets - standard and corse, paddock stands, carbon airbox.

motor was putting out 127bhp and 72ft/lbs torque. Vertical head refreshed in October - I should have done the horizontal one then too - doh

  9. ^^ it is just like that, although not in that condition........ yet. And a little different has mine has full tins.

Here is how it stands today, the only parts missing that I can tell is the standard exhaust. It has an aftermarket carb in the pic but I have the original. It starts ( I have a video) and the previous owner had a top end engine rebuild and the gearbox re built. it's not registered in the UK but I understand that is a pretty simple process for this age of bike.

I can't find a pic of one fully restored, but here is what mine would look like with the chassis and paint restored.
