Beginning to fall out of love with my girl, intermittent ECU problems still. picked the bike up this morning after having the ECU checked & a new tyre following a puncture. Speedo still still intermittently working & to top it all off ignition lock wouldn't disengage at home time. spent 20 mins trying to get it to work, looks like the key now won't fully insert. Had to leave the bike at work, thankfully was only working at the local office & had to get the bus home. Going to to call the garage & got the AA coming out tomorrow AM, anybody got any suggestions? Doesn't look like the barrel has dropped.
Had the same with mine when I first got it, the key had a slight bend in it. I straightened it in the vice and promptly got another one off eBay.
Thanks both, key is not bent & lubrication has failed also. Bike key is not even 5yrs old yet :-( onwed it from <200 miles.
