if anyone is interested, i've just noticed that on the GIVI website, the 3D603 has been launched which I think now fits the iphone5
I have the motech one on mine but have not used a satnav yet but you can get a sat nav mount that goes on the front of the bag so that it sits higher and has the power running through the tank ring to power satnav, phones etc.
I just got the Givi xs307 (15l) and while pleased with it, was surprised how small it is - not sure 4l would be much use to me? I also have the Ducati satnav mounted on the handlebar clamps and have had to tilt it "more flat" to be able to see 4/5ths of it without leaning forward, but I am 6ft so would imagine it would be nigh on impossible if any shorter?
I went to a website to try to buy the 20L Givi tanklock bag but the list of bike options did not include the MTS. Are you using the 20L version?
Update from the NEC Bike Show, the Givi 3D603 does indeed fit my Samsung S3 (Even with a thick case on). However did I buy one? No, for two reasons, firstly Givi were only exhibiting their products and not selling them. The second reason is they have a revised model coming out in the New Year that includes a USB charging system, this can charge up to four devices, it looks awesome, I'm kicking myself now for not taking photos!! The 3D604 looked too large for my liking and needs. Roll on the New Year!!!
Tomtom fitting Is that the standard fitting for the tomtom rider. Looking for a sat nav for my multi and the ducati one is so much more expensive.
Yes it is the tom tom rider with the powered mount wired directly into the bikes sat nav power point provided. the mount is then mounted on a bracket made from flat plate and attached to the headstock bracket. simples
