Hello, at first - excuse my terrible english. I hope you could understand what i mean. A lot of Multistrada Drivers have the problem : Were could i fix the Navi ? Here are two solutions for the Garmin 210 /220: 1st soultion. left side of the handle bar : Lenkerhalterung für Garmin Zumo 210 / 220 Aufnahme für Navi Zumo 210 - Ducati by Varadero on Shapeways Louis - Motorcycle & Leisure - Europe's number 1 for motorcycle clothing, helmets and accessories. 2nd solution, in the middle of the handle bar : ZUMO 210 Halter Multistrada Lenkerbruecke by Varadero on Shapeways Solutions with the same Concepts for the Zumo 340 / 350 / 390 are still under Construction. BikePenR is a manufacturer and supplier of mounting brackets for GPS / satnav systems on motorcycles, got a mount from them last year, brilliant = BikePenR
you might want to use the locking mount bracket through, the clip-on mount is only suitable for in car usage imho
I use the clip on mount since 1 Year and i have no problem since 11.000 KM, even under bad conditions of the street. I screwed it on the left side of the handlebar. It needs very little space and does not look as ugly as the big brackets.
I have the Navihalter mount on my 1200S Sport. It works great and puts the satnav in a very easy line of site. however, I like the way that the centre mount works on this one Vau, would it fit a BMW G650 XCountry ? When will the Zumo 350 LM option be available?
@DaveF: it´s still under construction ( look to the pictures after the text ) The 3D- data is ready to be 90 percent, but I'm still waiting for a Zumo 390 to make different measurements. (I only have a Zumo 210 at home) Then I need to create a prototype to check the function. The bracket shown at the pictures only fits on the center of the handlebar of the Multistrada. But I will create also a universal version for mounting on the handlebar right or left . This is then also available without Ducati logo. I think I still need to March.
Talking to me? No worries, got that covered for all my bike GPS units (Zumo 220 / Montana 600) currently in use, easy as… Zumo GPS Mounts - Touratech-USA Motorcycle Mounts for Garmin Montana GPS Units - Touratech-USA
nope intended at OP, i have had the 220 drop out of the clip mount with a light knock when i have used in the car, would not trust it on the bike
