What did you just buy for your bike?

  1. Some coin being spent...

  2. Still less than half the price of an 899 if it comes in on budget (which it won't), just as much fun and in my eyes a whole lot more special.

  3. yup - 1/2 the 'fun' is snuffling about ebay like some kind of truffle pig!

  4. You're right about that! I'm waiting for some cheap-as-chips used carbon road fairing to come up and then I'm going to be all over it like a tramp on a bag of hot chips.

  5. Not all today but recently i have bought these for the project bike:

    An Acewell 6556 Dash
    999 Fuel Pump
    Sp Engineering Stubby Carbon Can
A teeny tiny Shorai Lithium Battery
848 Clutch and Brake Master Cylinders
a cafe racer style headlight (although i think its a little on the large side and may get changed)
    a rear light setup
and a load of spares for the S4R rearsets

  6. Bought new belts and fitted and motoelectric hi cap leads for better starting and they have made a difference , new plugs just got oil filter and oil when I get a filter removal socket

  7. Standard Ducati Bars

    Shinny new Rizoma Bars

The Rizoma bars have just made the riding position a bit more comfortable.

  8. Complete set of titanium axle nuts for my 1098R from Podium Racing.

  10. Hi Jim,

What make is this and where did you get it from? I'm trying to get one for my Streetfighter but the Givi one doesn't work with my petrol cap. Any chance of a picture of the cap and lock mech?

    Oh and looks good!

    Ed.

  11. Hi Ed,
its a bags connection Engage bag with the normal lock ring not the Evo one. I bought it from Motohaus £123 delivered for the lot, comes in a dust bag, tank ring, carry strap n rain cover.
i bought a bags connection Daypack bag which has a flat bottom for my Panigale n never used it but when I went to fit it to the Multi, it was too big n obscured the nav so got the Engage as its curved so that Daypack bag will b goin up for sale soon.
Will take a pic of the ring n post soon.

  12. Brilliant, thanks very much.

  13. Pics as requested...the other bag isn't the Daypack, it's an Engage Sport

  15. Ah nice, I face a real problem with my fuel cap. As you can see it has no bolts on the outer surface so I can't fit a ring. I knew the Givi one didn't work but wondered if yours would show a genius solution.

I know you can get the 'bra' type fit bags but those tank lock ones seem like such a nice and practical option.

    Thanks
    Ed.

  16. The closed caps a bummer but as u say the Ducati bra looks the only option and typically expensive.

  17. Another one to keep it company:biggrin: if anybody needs me I'll be in the doghouse

  18. You can buy a cap for the SF with bolts ,,, Just more expense

Kreiga do a bra that fits

  19. So do Givi.

  20. The first step in a long and expensive journey :)
