I asked Ducati to clarify because when I was in Germany last year and it must have rained almost everyday, Trying to get heat into them was a bit of an issue so had to dance most of the time, We are going back again this year so was hoping to have a better all round tyre so that i could avoid this as much as possible. Agree though in the dry and warmed up great tyre. I have found some Conti's in the right sizes so happy bunny
I was there on Supercorsas too on an 848. Not my most comfortable days riding I'll happily admit but it was on track (higher speed that the road) and it was hosing it down.
You must have been riding like you had miss daisy pillion , did donington in the wet on my 1199 with wets fitted and it would spin the rear on the straights. also ran a 190 racetec rear in the dry and had no issues at all, TC set to 1 and it was fine
yep ive had a 3rd to 4th gear highside in the wet with wets ,on a r6 on the start finish straight ,don't know how people can ride with dry road semi slicks in the wet good on ya,
Mine was spinning the rear on the straights when I was being aggressive with the throttle which was fun but no biggie, obviously I wasn't whacking it open when lent over in the corners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as I hadn't pre booked a local hospital bed for the night!!!!!!
Doesn't fitting a different profile tyre screw up the tc on a pani due to different rolling radius? Yanks have been complaining about it. Just repeating what I have read on alternative forums!
I ve ran 2 ct front pilot road 3 rear 190/55 traction settin 1 race mode .traction light on load on dash , Dunlop 211/55 were fine just fitted corsa 3 s 200/55 find the perfect all conditions . Could not get away with standard supers on the streets hope this some use ps used 212 s and bind it hard to get heat in on road later found out need tire warmer s off Dunlop rep exp lesson . On my pani .
Different tyres don't make a difference?! Lol no difference at all between a touring tyre on an 1098 and a SC road tyre in the summer. None all all. Pmsl
