So the panigale did a 1m35 without the chicane, on the normal bike circuit that would be a 1m40 which is 3 seconds off the F400 lap record so pretty poor tbh, didn't the 848's post 1m35's when they were there ?

 

Northover got a 2nd and a win as a guest in the 848 challenge, so one would assume he knows what he's doing.

 

I know so can only assume he wasn't pushing too much, 3 seconds slower than a 20yr old zxr400 says he wasn't too

 

Depends on the weather, maybe..?

 

The BSB lap record is 1:26.6

 

yeh about 3/4 seconds with the chicane added I would think the video was uploaded 31/1 I think ,love to see what a standard panni would do in shakeys hands I recon hed be close to a 34 if not quicker that's with the chicane ?

 

My mate did 1.29.6 on a honda rs 250 in 2000 what's good about a 1.35 he does 1.39 on. Manx. Norton with chicane at bottom of mountain

 

I just paid £75 with my work partner for a ticket to win one of them cars , 4000 tickets only, so not a bad set of odds . If we win we could have the car or £125,000 cash , I'd take the cash myself.
Then buy a brand new unused D16 that I've just seen in classic motorcycle mechanics.

 

Dont know std of driver either, but 1'35 is t that impressive. Reckon martin from Ducati Glasgow was that quick on his old 1098 on a trackday a few years ago if the chicane was removed. Stick spike Edwards on it and a 1'30 flat easy ;-)
