2-Piece Wet weather clothing

  1. :frown: Does anyone have any recommendations they would make for good quality, reliable two piece rainwear that they have worn over textile suits?
I've been looking at some Spidi 2-piece stuff, amongst others, which isn't particularly cheap, but this is not my real driver. What I am looking for is the general fit and suitability to wear over the textile suit I have, that's shower-proof and not much else and with a week long Europe trip in May, I'm going to need some extra protection undoubtedly.
So any thoughts or suggestions would be gratefully received.:upyeah:

  2. I wouldn't buy something like that on line, you need to go to somewhere like J&S with your textiles on and try some on, so they fit properly and you don't have any restricted movement.

I also wouldn't get too hung up on branding, it just needs to be comfortable and keep the rain out. Oxford do some pretty good rainproof stuff.

  3. Hi
I have worn this Held 2 piece since November, most days with this weather over my leathers, though not particularly warm as unlined but totally waterproof with large cuffs, will go over winter gloves & large zipped trouser gusset to go over boots, can thoroughly recommend this. my only criticism is the elastic waist makes it awkward to pull on over boots, otherwise great.

  4. I use a Bering two piece suit. The trousers zip right to the top of the waist band which makes it a doddle to get in and out of them.
They are thick though and bulky to pack. When using the jacket zip it right up and hardly anything gets in to wet your neck. Bikestop Stevenage are stockists.
