Tricolore gone?

  1. I've noticed the tricolore doesn't seem to appear on the ducati website, but it does appear on some dealers sites... It was my favourite flavour of 1199.

  2. There is only ONE Ducati colour in both senses of the word.

  3. Tricalore is prettiest Panigale by a long way

  4. Don't think it's in the line up anymore, same at the previous 1098 version

  5. Yeah I liked it not just for the colours, but the spec as well.

  6. The Tricolore was deleted and replaced by the 'Mat Black' Panigale. Tricolore was the nicer 1 of the bunch tbh.

Probably a few left in dealers pockets though.

  7. Wasn't the tricolore nothing more than an S with a paint job though? If so then how much did that paint job cost people who wanted one over an S?

  8. The Tricolore was approx £3000 over the standard S model. Yes it was a very nice paint job and you got Termi's thrown in too.

  9. There's a brand new one of sale at Ducati Abu Dhabi. Well, it's now Polaris Abu Dhabi as they opened a $1m showroom and didn't have any customers, so they closed it less than a year after opening it. Well, another reason might have been the spectacularly high prices they charged. I bought my Tricolore from my dealer in the UK, shipped it to Abu Dhabi, paid the 5% import duty and the registration fee and still saved £5K !

A Harley Davidson dealership with a Starbucks 200 meters away is the only way to make money on bikes in this part of the world.

  10. Hmm.... Maybe the tricolor will turn out to be a good investment! But I'm sure it'll only be worth about 12 k if you try to PX it at a Ducati dealer!

  11. Yeah it was between the S and R - bad termi full system so the paint job actually only cost a couple of hundred.

  12. Tric's got end cans not a full system and GPS also over the S

  13. God invented RED so that Ducatis would be the most beautiful bike in the World - Federico Minoli.
