Heavy duty con rods.

  1. I am just in the process of having some connecting rods made for an ss or early monster, these will be made from EN24V and in a H section not I section as standard. these are std length and std pin sizes, these are British made items with American ARP bolts, and are bushed at the small end.
I have used these rods before and have had no issues with them, they have been on the dyno and have had the living daylight pasted out of them with not a murmur.
Prices for these are £260 per rod, if anyone is interested please contact me asap as the order has gone in this week.
Custom lengths can be done again please pm.

  2. spike, they look way too nice to get all oily, if I had the money I wud just put them on mantle piece to look at and stroke em every now and again !!! or is that just me that gets excited over exotic internals ??

  3. I fell its good to get excited over "exotic internals", the next batch have just arrived and look even better in the flesh (read steel).
These have come for the SS and Monster engines, the weight is good also at 20 grammes lighter than stock.

  4. spike,what lengths/capacity are these suitable for ???

  5. These are 130mm centres same as 900ss mon and the 1000 / 1100 multi two valvers, ballpark on the rating is 100hp per rod but i am more interested in the rpm side of things, these i have used to 11,000 rpm in an ss motor using Cosworth pistons, piston weight is the killer!

No Steve, not made by Arrow but someone who does do work for same, the arrow rods seem more rounded, these are not a copy of a Carillo but the same design, incedentally these are cut from hardened billet so no hardening or tempering of the final product, unlike Carillo.
    Same ARP bolts though.
