My 1098s has been playing up recently. After standing for a day or so I turn the key, the pump doesn't fire up and I can't here the normal clicking and bit. It turns over but won't fire up. If I turn it all off and back on again the pump runs and the bike goes through its bit. I'm thinking maybe a sticky fuel pump relay. Anybody got any other ideas?
I've just had my fuel pump relay replaced under warranty, similar circumstances however I did get an error on the dash (see attached). Do u have any error codes showing, u may need to cycle through the menu.
Umm I did yeah, I think (was a bit pissy as I was on side of the road) if u press up on the left bar, I think the first thing it does is display errors, as u can see though my engine light is also on but I thought that was normal until the bike starts.
