Anyone looking for work?

Discussion in 'Wanted' started by stickyjamfinger, Mar 18, 2014.

  1. Hi, is there anyone out there looking for work in a busy workshop doing mainly diagnostic and other specialist work in the automotive industry?

Please pm me if you want details.

    Thanks.

  2. May be worth adding the location. Any experience required or will training be provided etc

  3. Ok thanks Matt.

    Location: North Yorkshire

Any experience considered, looking for more than one person including a young apprentice for long standing and successful family business.

    Some training would be provided.

Please pm for more details if interested.

  4. feel your pain.
got an apprentice yesterday. not easy getting some one into the trade.

  5. Nope not easy at all...finding a decent apprentice is hard, most lack interest and dont like being told what to do....

  6. got a belter last year, a wee bit older so had to pay a bit more, but got his head screwed on. well worth it. you know what it costs to run a workshop so at 7baa an hour was a bit of a gamble for a first year apprentice. but turned out to be well worth it.

  7. I think that may be key, finding someone that has a little more maturity to take the job seriously.
I must stress that this is not my business, Im just trying to reach out through the Ducati community to help out.
Its a great opportunity for someone even if it involves relocating.
