Hi all, Looking at getting some for the car (on recommendation from a friend), but was wondering if it was any good on visors, too. I believe the warnings say to avoid plastics, and I understand this to be down to the isopropanol and ethanol content, but have seen some car people say they have used successfully on clear plastic parts. Anybody any experience with it on here? Cheers, Pete
pete, this is of no use to your query but i on your car windscreen i can recommend it...ive driven up the motorway in pishing rain with the wipers off, its that effective... i could also clearly see the barrier that i was heading into...great stuff though.
I used it on recommendation a while back when commuting, and it worked OK. Certainly better in rain than without it.
Nice one. Thanks for the seemingly positive experiences, will get some this week for the car and give it a quick wipe on the visor, too. hope to avoid barriers along the way (although the very nasty front tyres on the car may decide otherwise unless I change them soon!)
http://www.visorvision.co.uk/shop/Raincoat-Rain-Repellent-28 I started using this stuff recently, and have been impressed so far. Worth noting that each sachet yields 3-4 visor treatments.
I used to use it all the time when I was dispatching, but there is better stuff on the market these days, the Visorvision and Nikwax stuff are both easier to use and work well.
