Buy a new one and it would of cost you £1500. Each fairing was £2500..... Nose Cone £1300.... Tank £1300. Carbon Mirror supports £250. What is your point?

My front seat pan is new, the rear seat pan is 'as new' condition. a 749R was £13500 new.... 10 years on they are half that price for a shabby one.... They didn't come with the carbon seat units. This item would be a nice upgrade for a 749R. The later 999R's again didn't come with a carbon seat unit.... Again a nice upgrade or even a spare for a Fila 999R. It's missing two stickers for the front seat pan which could be applied and laquered over, which is exactly what ducati did for the fila and xerox bikes. a good 999R will cost you close to 10k now close enough to half the price they were new... Rare parts go for decent money... Often bikes are worth more in parts than as a complete bike.... I just got £216 for a £25 Ducati yearbook. Was I wrong on this one too?
Think I'm correct in saying the 2003 999R and Fila bikes came with the Carbon Tail. A few 749R bikes might have sold with carbon tails on the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] hand market. sigh, Andyb They were very pleased with their 1998 Ducati yearbook and the service I provided.... I didn't force anyone to buy it, I put it up on ebay for much lower. They all sell between £125 to £225 due to their rarity... I feel we are going round in circles here If you're not interested them don't buy it...In fact. lets agree never to buy or sell anything to each other. We all value things differently. Mine is £125 more than the item available from ebay includes postage and returns like all my items.... Can be seen before purchasing. I will add that the ebay item previously sold and then was returned. He has re-listed at a lower price. Something which if I'm honest would put me off... A, because I would have to pay postage back to Holland if there was a problem. Which I had recently on ebay. B, I wouldn't want that on my 749R without the scratches and chips re-painted......But that is all personal circumstance. This is still a very good buy for someone and I wish him luck with his sale.
