  2. Is there going to be many coming onto the market after a year though, I reckon a big proportion are bought on the tri options finance so I would have though most people would keep them for the 3 yr term ?

  10. It's the voice and now the Ducati shirt...

But I'll be riding the 899 and a whole lot of other Ducs in a few days time. I'll be pre-running* the Ducati DemoDay at my local dealer with a few mates.

*If this is the correct translation, I'm the dude at the back or the front in the Day-Glo vest to guide the demo-riders along.

  11. The Barons bare arms!!! First bit of "Baron flesh" we have seen other than his paws! :Woot:

  12. Baron well done and welcome to the Ducati world!
Enjoy your stunning new ride and the ladies you'll pull thanks to it. :D
Now I actually expect a compilation of birds starring at you in one of your vlogs.

I might catch you on that route in Buckinghamshire, take care!

  13. No way, theyd stick it up for 9.5 - 10k
    Youd see 7.5 - 8.5k
    Watch this space lol

  14. So what are you getting to a tank?

  15. Would it be a deal breaker on a bike like the 899 lol

  16. Yes if it only does about 80 to the tank. Stopping every five seconds to fill up is a pain the in arse. I want to ride a bike, not hang around in petrol stations, or creep about on reserve desperately looking for one.

  17. Buy a zzr then ;)

  18. 999 is OK. It's realistically 200km between fills (using a bit of the reserve, quite often). That's 125 miles and I can live with that. 916 was a bit better, 851 a bit better still. But then more bhp is going to mean less miles in a tank, although the tanks have probably been shrinking, along with the rest of the bike.

So no need for a lardarse ZZR!

  19. Is there any truth in using Super unleaded giving you more miles to the tank? I think ducati say to use only normal unleaded but not sure why?

  20. I did find that on runs I'd get a few more miles out of a tank using super rather than normal. Don't know why.
