  1. Does anyone have any tips to pass on about installing a headset in a Shoei Air? What's the best way?

  2. I've got a Sena bluetooth in mine (using the speakers provided by default) and I didn't have any trouble.

just followed the instructions provided for washing to remove the cheek pads, stick the headset in, and put the pads back.
Don't remember it being any more difficult than any other lid I've done it with, so you should be fine...

  3. I've also got a Sena with a Shoei, no issues just take extra effort in lining up the speakers exactly with your ears, you can experiment and move them. I tucked all the cables inside the liners.

  4. Don't know about the Sena but I have just fitted an Interphone F3MC to my Shoei GT Air. I took visor off and then stripped the padding out. Its fairly straight forward but a little fiddly. I tried to route the thin wires in the grooves of the polystyrene lining to keep them out of the way. The wires are very thin so I used strips of gaffer tape to secure them to the lining. The F3MC speakers come in round pouches that are velco to the helmet speaker recesses. I found after my first ride that these were rubbing on my ears. So I took the speakers out of the pouches and velco them to the speaker recesses. This fixed the problem. The F3 pouches are just a little to big and sit too proud for me. Hopefully you will not have the same problem with yours. Hope this helps a little.

  5. I use a cardo Scala G9 - Works great . Easy to fit .
