  1. Hi , im looking to possibly get a Hm quickshifter for my 1098 but have seen a few threads/rumors that the ducati's gearbox doesn't like them and will end up breaking ?

Does anyone have any experience or advice they could share .

    cheers

  2. Think you will be okay with a properly set up HM shifter. Its the OEM thats agricultural.

  4. I had an HM unit on a GSXR 750 with no problems and so I wanted one on my 1098s. BSD performance suggested a Cordona quickshifter instead which they fitted and it was absolutely fantastic! Even at low revs no problem at all.

  5. Running an HM on my 1098R and works very well. Yes, my gearbox is currently being rebuilt but by crikey, its had some hammer. I don't attribute its rebuild to a quickshifter.

  6. Hm here to.... Tis very good

  7. Faultless, just have to be positive with the shift :upyeah:

  9. Iv got hm one fitted to my 1098. It's a gimmick really for the road..but I love it all the same:)

  10. Thanks for all the replies , does anyone have any settings they recommend for it ?

It's a race shift one I'm fitting and I'm not sure whether the settings will be similar to that of a road shift one ?

    Thanks
