    New baby forced sale of my 848 and 1 year on, I'm not getting any closer to another one any time soon so to create space I'm putting the following up on ebay shortly - listing here first. All available for collection from Burgess Hill West Sussex or will post at cost.

    Abba Stand - With 848/1098 and 696 adaptors SOLD
    Front paddock stand Demon Tweeks £15
    Optimate 4 with all leads & cigar socket lead £30
    848 wet clutch cover (scuffed not dented) offers
    848 front brake lever bent (spare) offers
    848 rear brake lever bent (spare) offers
    848 clutch lever as new offers

  5. I would be up for buying this if I knew 100% that it would fit the 1098, what I wouldn't want to do is buy it for £70 plus postage and then another £24.95 for the correct fittings. Thats going to work out more expensive than buying a brand new Abba stand (£91.95) which I know will 100% fit.

  6. Yup - understand this, it's not a bargain if it don't fit!!. However, it totally fits: It's the same kit. Would be happy to de-risk, i.e if I'm wrong I'll refund and take it back - can't say fairer than that?

  12. Haven't been online since yesterday but if it fits the 1098 I'd take it please, could you do it for £70 delivered? Hope that doesn't sound cheeky.

  16. Hi Nick I am ok - it's good of you to enquire. The last time I saw you was spotting you ride by The Chalet in both directions 'enthusiastically' and it was clear that you were enjoying the bike : ). It was Sue who pointed out how long ago the 'Ken' clan used to meet regularly. It's good to hear life is going well for you. Are you quitting biking altogether for now?

  17. For now, yes. I still desperately want to get back on but the Mrs lost her job just as maternity leave started leaving us in a pickle, plus we need to invest in extending the house to accommodate everyone so that's the main priority. currently dreaming of what I'll have as my next bike. The chalet ride was actually one of my last outings :eek:(
