I wanted to but alas no bike yet, should be back Friday (which would be a stellar turnaround) although I want to make sure it is done before booking anything just in case there's more of an issue than expected.
Hi Matt, i've going to the Silverstone track day tomorrow (it was an Xmas present) Been counting the days for ever so can't wait. Not sure which group they've put me in. Probably novice or inter'. Not done a track day for many years! I'm riding a Multi 1200 Pikes Peak so probably see you there. Praying for no rain!

Good to meet Matt and Fern today. I did not see Matt ride in the Fast group, but Fern was holding his own in the Inters on his Mutli. At last a day that stayed dry and was even warm. This being my first time on the Pani on track it took some getting used to. The first three sessions were not good as I was struggling with the immense acceleration at the top end and then having to brake hard to stop overrunning the sharper corners and avoid the newbies. The sessions afterwards were just immense. I effing love this bike! Became tired before the end of the day so missed the last session. Other than something odd running down the exhaust (pics to follow), the bike was absolutely faultless. What still amazes me, however, are the numbers of people that come to talk to me about how beautiful the bike is. There were many bikes there today that are better or easier to ride than a Panigale, however, they did not appear to generate the same interest. One comment that made me laugh came from the father of someone on a 899. "My son has the 899, but I wanted to come and look at the adult version" Very tired and will ache badly over the next couple of days, but well worth it. I believe other forum members may have a tale or two to tell so will leave it here.

from your mouth to the repair bill's ears. Lots of cosmetic damage, hope the front forks are straight and the swingarm is okay. Certainly needs a polish now. Bloody annoying :-(
Did it just slide? If you havent worn thru any casings and it didnt bounce I'm sure its just a bit of plastic
