1200 First Multistrada...

  1. So, just bought a 2011 Pikes Peak and ridden home with 350 miles tucked under my belt - great machine! Have had a 916 SP and 1098S before but this is something else.
    Tapping into all the knowledge here - what would be your favourite mod and why? Is there anything that has really been a showstopper?
     
  2. SImple but getting rid of all the plastic gubbins at the rear of the bike (ie number plate hanger and crud catcher). Makes the bike look so much better IMO
     
  3. Does yours have the full termi exhaust or are u still lumbered with the standard exhaust box.

    Getting a decat exhaust is a fantastic improvement IMO
     
  4. Having ridden today for the first time - Ohlins SCU for £250 is a nice upgrade. Very happy I did it, bike just feels more planted than before IMO, lot more "planted" when on and off the throttle.
     
  5. Thanks so far. The bike came with the Ohlins SCU and Termi end can/Leo Vince de cat pipe combo so all good there. Is there a consensus on the gearing? I had an RSV Mille which responded well to a change in front and rear sprockets.
