  1. Anybody else get the clonking noise from the headstock area ? mine seems to be getting worse..

  2. yes ive noticed this aswell.......... I could be wrong, but could it be the sound of the front wheel chucking up the odd stone ?????????? :Nailbiting:

  3. I'm going to guess it needs shimming, my multistrada forks do it

Mine have been shimmed and it's still there, to be honest it doesn't effect anything

    It's just annoying

  4. This is fairly common and has been covered on the US Diavel site. Essentially, and you will have difficulty believing this, but it's actually the lower run of the chain clacking on the swing arm and gets worse the slacker the chain gets. Don't believe me? The cure is to insert some thin rubber under the lower plastic chain guide. Service told me it was the floating front disc mounting and was normal - bollocks. I did the mod and the noise immediately went away and stayed away. Funny old world isn't it?
