Whilst getting off the Pikes Peak this morning I caught the seat with the eyelet of my boot and have a flap which is approx the size of my little finger nail and about 3/4 of a circle. I have glued it with Silicone and the membrane underneath is intact so no worries about water getting into the foam but it looks like a repaired hole int he seat (cos thats what it is) Any Ideas on how to solve this, do the masses know someone with a pikes peak pillion seat or someone who could cover it or both with an OE looking cover????? Ideas appreciated so come on what have you got>
I had my seat done at a place in Sheffield , check out teh 'damos multi now gone' thread and I think I dropped the link along with pictures in there
Thanks for the pointers, Damo your seat looks the business, I think I will live with the damage until the winter and then get them both done as yours. I really like the PP seat look but the smooth material is very easily marked, i have a few scuffs on the riders seat done by getting on and off when I had the tent strapped to the pillion so couldn't get my leg over properly and had to do the leg up, foot over and hop style mount up technique.
