Hi, As above, I got taken for a bit of a ride by the guy selling the system, said it was full but really it's slip ons with standard pipes, standard air filter and bits missing! So in need of the termignoni performance filter and the 4 spring clamps that connect the cans the downpipes Or if Someone could Provide me with a link to a store that would sell them that would be great. Hang on... Did u buy them on eBay?? Recently there was a guy on eBay advertising a full system and it was just pipes and standard headers. Someone emailed him and warned him that he was miss-advertising and he didn't do anything about it. If u search the threads I am sure u will see it. If... U bought yours from eBay.
Air filter can be got from Ducati, about £50 no worries 42610261A for the 848 it may be the same. Springs again a Ducati dealer
Phil...I believe I was that idiot yes. In fairness, to get the slip ons and the ecu you would be paying that price anyway but I was very disappointed to find out it wasn't a full system So I emailed the pr*ck and expressed my feels but heard nothing back. *cough* negative feedback coming his way..this however does not get my money back so I have to persevere and try find these little bits!
Im trying but this guy is turning out to he a bit of a bastard, i even said look just refund me £100, I'll use the money to send you back the standard parts so you can sell them on and probably get more money anyway and I can at lease go buy the missing bits. But he is all like I didn't misadvertise anything blah blah blah. Will contact eBay if it doesn't get resolved.
U need to get whoever it was on here to give u a copy of the message where they made the seller aware he was miss-selling. U can then use this to report the guy and u will have a really good case! If this thread stays active I am sure that person will be along or I will try and find the thread as I commented in it also to say that it couldn't be the full system as the full system doesn't have an exhaust valve.

Persist. You have a very strong case. Contact eBay resolution and follow the steps. Takes a while but you will get a refund.
Yeah I imagine u will get a refund mate especially if u can provide evidence that the seller acknowledged and error and agreed to 'update the description' honestly u can't let him get away with this!!!!
Ahh man I feel like such a fool I'm new to Ducati's can just read full system and it was an auction so I thought I just got lucky! I am still arguing with this guy as we speak. He still thinks he has not misadvertised when in his description it still said '2009/10 Ducati 1198 (1098) Termignoni Full Exhaust System c/w Performance Race ECU, Filter and Exhaust Servo Motor (never used), heat shield and blank caps. Cost over £2K new! Grab yourself a great deal!' Which is what made me think it was a full system. He took full system out the title and that is the argument he is standing by at the moment!! I actually get angry every time he messages me
As a regular eBay seller I would say you should be able to get some money back at least (partial refund they call it) did you pay with paypal ? If so they can freeze the money until the dispute is settled. I think you should pursue this as it's blatant the item is not as advertised
