Hello all, I've just got a new to me M1100s. Only had it about a month but love it so far. Last Ducati I had was a bevel drive 900ss in 1981, so it has taken me a while to return to the fold. Looking forward to being a member and getting more time to ride.
Welcome to the forum. Have you seen what bevel 900ss are worth now. Don't worry Steve R will be on here soon telling you what a mistake you made. He is a top bloke, knows a thing or two about Dukes.
Yes, I have seen the prices, and my black and gold with later wheels, contis and 40mm carbs was immaculate back then, believe it got run over by a van quite shortly after I sold it. Needless to say I wish I'd never sold it, it was perfectly reliable, took me to LeMans amongst other places, and was a joy to ride. Read somewhere recently that they found one with 6 miles on the clock which will never be ridden by owner as considered too valuable.
