Some times when I'm at work, I think about what I would buy if I won the lottery,a desmosedici or a superleggera.i know the Desmo is getting on now but I'm afraid it would take priority I think,with its moto GP presence and that awsome exhaust note.what would take pride in your garage and why.if you already own either of these drop dead gorgeous machines,then I hate you .
Yep both! ^^^^^^ Desmo is amazing bike but look and listen to the SL and you'd prob buy the SL, WHAT a bike that is!!!! To choose one from the other....well....hard choice,, but if your buying then I guess I will settle for the Desmo, thanks in advance MATE
if you want a bike to ride alot,i think the SL. if you want a prestige bike,the desmo. but if i had the money to buy one,it would maybe be harder to choose. henk!!!
The SL is a marketing exercise in throwing fancy pants parts at a Panigale. Fundamentally, it's a Panigale and while that's a great bike, that's where it stops. I'd have the SL if I really wanted one but the Desmo is basically a MotoGP bike for the road and I think that's a bit more special. I'd have a Desmo in the lounge, I'd not feel the same about the SL.
I love the look of the desmo but as a bike to use it would have to be the SL for me, I think you would need to win the lottery to keep the desmo going.
The Pani needs to win a couple of championships before it can even be considered as a great ducati, worthy of my adoration at the least. Even if it is rolled in the most gorgeous of glitter. For now its just a really tasty bit of kit. The Desmo, 916SP or a round case ss are my ultimate ducati's.
Was that photo taken on Sunday at knockhill? If so it must have been early on as everything was coveted in dust by lunchtime
Definitely Desmo, both far better than me, it's not like I need the power or on the limit handling even if the SL is better/lighter/faster or whatever it is
