  1. As to complete my home gym,I've brought a set off used commercial dumbells from a guy who had a gym in Birmingham.but over the years all the paint has come of them, any ideas what paint I could use to bring them back to life, something hard wearing is needed here. image.jpg

  2. to make them look like yours on the bottom left there?

  3. To make them look better than they already are would be a bonus,my misses weights were brought from argos and IDE love to know what paint they use

  4. Can't you just leave them bare? If your gym is inside they won't rust too much

  5. Would like to bring them back to there former glory.

  6. if there used they wont rust either. .

  12. I used car paint on mine many years back and its lasted pretty well. But then again I dont smash them together or drop them on the floor etc. If I was to redo mine id probably use something like engine enamel paint on them.

  13. River silt. Launch from a good height they will get covered up in enough silt to prevent them being found again

  14. Polyurethane wheel paint?

  15. Shot blasted then powder coated within the day, if poss. Once blasted, they will start to rust again within hours, even on a dry day.

  16. I used black hammerite on my old dumbells....been fine for years now
