Only a few more days to go. All the haterz hatin because no-one ever picked them at school. Boohoo. Eat my goal!
I love any competitive games. Rugby, cricket, football whatever. Its fun. Football is theatre and I dont expect England to qualify from the group. I will watch as much as I can even though I will be around Le Grand Bornand area from the 18th for a week negotiating mountain hairpins and insulting my mates. Looking forward to the Cluses to Thonon en Bains D902 TT. New C&S - check new supercorsas - check new pads all round - check new fluids - check Hit it!
I`ll bite I made the football and rugby teams at school, I was quite sporty as a kid. Watching football bores the tits off me now, still like rugby though. At the last firm I worked at, someone brought a football in to have a bit of a kick about at snap time. This quickly descended into "ULTIMATE DEATHBALL" with no rules, no limits on player numbers and full contact. :Rage: Once the management started questioning why half the workforce was hobbling around after dinner it soon got stopped, obviously they were bitter cos they never got picked for "ULTIMATE DEATHBALL." Was really good fun while it lasted. You can have a world cup every week for me, just means less traffic on my race track. Everyone`s a winner.
Wait, wait a minute. It`s also 106 miles to Chicago, you`ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it`s dark................and you`re wearing sunglasses. Now you can "hit it"
A good one is Cluses to Monthey in Switzerland. It's Cluses - Taninges - Morzine (near as dammit) - Abondance - Morgins - Monthey. Doesn't take that long, so you can do that and then go back again from Monthey to Thonon. You get swervery following a river, some stuff in a gorge, and a mountain pass (not a very challenging one, but the Pas de Morgins is still a good one). I obviously normally do this road in the Monthey to Cluses direction and I've done it many times. You could then scoot up to Martigny from Monthey (just a few minutes away on the motorway) and then go back into France on the Col de la Forclaz. Now, that would be a ride.
Well I'm still enjoying it..........and Holland v Costa is the best 125 minutes of 0-0 I'v seen for years
This has been the best World Cup ever from a football pov, without shadow of a doubt! No doubt Slack Bladder and his gravy train cronies will try and take the credit for that. The man is a grease ball. Fact
If they do, can they take some stick for the last one? A shonky ball and vuvuzelas were all their fault.
Yet another great match. Van Gaal's hero or zero gamble to bring on Tim Krul paid off - remarkable. Can't wait for the semi's now. England aren't entirely out of it yet though - Maybe Howard Webb is still in with a chance of a final game?
'kin 'ell! 25 mins in and Brazil are 4-0 down! I don't think Neymar would've made much difference. 5-0 !!!
Typical of the Germans to turn up a spoil the party. I hate the Germans. (Only the football team). I wanted Brazil to win.
I'm not a footie fan but watched some of it to see Brazil trash the Germans, boy was I shocked guess the little wurst munching country conquering lager quaffing gits will win the final. Arrogant lil shites
