Thanks so much for reminding me about this. I have been lax, so focused on getting my website up and working, but it's hardly an excuse. I have the time for a few postcards. I've just entirely forgotten all about it. I'll get back on the case - it was a good idea. I'll keep you posted.
no worries. There is probably quite relaxing and satisfying evening there - complete a days 'proper' work, cook simple but tasty peasant type meal, or a tapas selection. Turn ones back on the TV or other distracting rubbish, pour a glass of something smooth- lay out the necessary pens, ink, cards , put something mellow bout with a touch of liveliness on the CD player, and spend an evening reflecting and writing to those/anyone you want to. I'll bet the recipients will be pleasantly surprised, and you could well feel pleasantly satisfied at a good evenings soul satisfaction, and renewed friendship contact. Jazz....nnnniiiiiiiiiccce!!!
Don't worry, when it goes live I shall put in a plug here (although I suspect I'm not supposed to. Oh well, let's see if that one evades Matt. The Glidd of Glood Blog is just a piece of fun for my own amusement. Nothing to do with what I have in mind for a business venture. The new site is meant to be live at the end of the month, but I have never seen an IT project on time (or on budget...).
Had a stroll by the river at diner time and look what was lurking along the edge. At a guess I would say about 10ins long. So pleased I didn't dangle my toes in. I presume it's one of the American signal cray fish ? Steve
Well Friday night is date night and I have been promised that I will get medical attention from my good lady in a nurses uniform and stockings. 20 years on and she still knows had to keep me happy
Rode out to Braintree Essex this morning......came home, no wife but found a brand new jar of jalapenos in the fridge. So far, I have eaten half of them. :Arghh:. Roll on tomorrow morning !
watched a scooter rider sling it up the road in Slough, rider up and ok, should have been paying attention. Bet she wished she'd worn gloves too... nice Fri mid afternoon beer with a mate on my way back from a decent meeting, and a few more discussions lining up the future
Drove to Bath, pleasant lunch in The Boathouse, then a stroll around Royal Crescent eyeing up my next property purchase before afternoon tea in the Pavilion Cafe. Very civilised.
