Ducati Club Nederland Clubrace weekend at Assen in May might be worth a visit, There'll be a few there and maybe one for sale.
That Pierobon is sooooooooo pretty! Yes please...... if I could find space that would be brilliant! Buy it somone and let me have a go!
You lucky guy.I just got back from Nice and passed through Cannes,Antibes and Toulon on the way to Aubagne. What a lovely part of the world.Unfortunately I had to come back as found out I was 5 months over max age limit contrary to official info I was given a while back. Good luck with the pierobon project they look sweet.I almost purchased a very trick road going 996R with pierobon frame a while back but someone beat me to it.Damn it.
Thanks for the link Gregory but I have gotten no response to my e mail to them. Do you have a phone # for them? Thanks for your help.
I will have a look but if you search Pierobon France you may find the name of the importer. I am traveling at the mo but will take a look when I have 10 mins free.
Their website has no phone number and they have not answered my email The other site Pierobonframes has an Italian number FWIW I emailed the USA importer Boulder Motorsports last Friday as well and have received no response If that is how a perspective buyer is treated I imagine their after purchase support is lacking as well My inquiries about NCR Millonas have had immediate response The buyer of my Troll backed out so I have a little more time to decide Know anyone looking for one of a dozen made Ducati Troll?
Some did not care for the Supermono either. I thought it was one of the most beautiful bikes ever made. This uses Supermono bodywork, weighs under 330lbs and is as close to a Supermono that my wallet will ever get. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I think T9s are beautiful as well. Though through some trading, including the Troll I ended up with this after zero response from anybody representing Pierobon. I don't think I did too poorly. 1100 Motard motor for the curious.
What's it weigh? I know some of the race fellas who build these in Holland and Belgium get them real light and 100hp motor and over 80lb ft makes for a fast and fun bike. For me the clothes don't do what is underneath justice but then it's not mine
Haven't weighed it but with the BST Carbon wheels and other bits the consensus is under 330lbs, maybe even 320. Engine is a Chris Boy build Motard 1100 to replace the DS1000 lump and he says around 110hp. Fun bike. And does the "clothes" justice.
