I have just bought the modified fuel pump gasket for my 05 MS. Before I start pulling the bike apart to try and get the pump past the exhaust, could anyone offer any advise/diagrams for this job. Obviously I only want to do this job once so am happy to use sealant to assist. I am aware of the plastic tank recall story and I have been to Ducati but quite honestly cant be bothered to start a long drawn out process of letters and e mails etc. Thank you

Sorry Steve, I've only accessed the pump on old style Multi when the tank has been off for servicing. Doing it with the tank in situ would be a pig of a job. To get the tank higher you could undo the rear mountings but the silencer has to come off to get at them.
