Do you still have any of the original parts? the yellow panels etc? If so convert it back to original. My 748SPS is Red because I wanted it to be Red but I replaced every original item panels tank airbox etc.) with a duplicate to return it to stock when\if I ever sell it. To be fair most people want a stock original bike, that is where the money lies in these, if you cannot convert it fully then it's probably only going to worth as much as a Biposto, maybe a little more if you can prove that it is an SP and someone is happy with the way it has been converted. I know where you are coming from on this but basically most people I have ever come across always want them stock and in yellow, which is fair enough I think.
Red Yep i agree stock is best , if i had the yellow bodywork and sub i would put it on and want top money 3500 + But when i got it i wanted a red one the sp is a bit more trick than the bp But it is an sp and am only looking 2500 ish
Then maybe it's really down to whether someone wants that bit of extra performance that an SP will give or looks at it like a faster or more upmarket Biposto. You might even get someone who looks at it like a project and is happy to restore it back to what it was, apart from the subframe and using a genuine mono seat the rest is quite easily doable.
Looks like its worth 3K + all day long if its low miles? Very clean Are you still not selling? Ps whole yellow 996 panel kit on ebay inc tank, all looks new £400 BIN
