  1. I would love one of these helmets, yet heard horror stories about the older version.

Do any of you own one and use it regularly? If so what are your opinions?

    Many thanks

  2. For my sins I have to admit to owning an old one. it was all show an no go... I wouldnt buy one again, if you really have to trying one on first is a must as sizing is a bit odd and jaw clearance non existant... ps did i say they were shiete?

  3. Ahhh and there's me with my rather large jaw.

Shame, I think they look Brill.

    Oh well.

    Thanks anyways.

  4. Are they designed for Tory chinless wonders?

  5. knew a chap who died in a rta because the chin bit flew up when he hit the road forcing the lid over his head not nice

  6. I went to buy one at NEC as I liked the way they looked.
    I wasn't impressed.

I tried one on and it felt dreadful and it really hurt at the front .
I went to try the next size up and it was still painful.
The salesman said if you get a spoon and push at the front and squash the ( polystyrene in it will relieve the pressure.
Or scoop some of the padding out with a spoon.
    I was horrified.
I said if I'm spending that much of a lid it should fit !!!!! It was crap made and that advise was so terrible I walked away.
    I'd avoid.

  7. I got a Roof helmet and i'm very satisfied.
Remember, buy only the Boxer V8, like the Roof Boxer V8 Black Shadow

(don't buy older versions, they have several bugs)

  8. I saw a bloke and his girl wearing them, I think, in an Ariel Atom once. Very cool!
But I suspect on a bike it's a bit show no go. Could be cool on a Diavel though.

Thing is, after a few hours in a second-rate helmet with your ears ringing and cold air blowing around you the fun of looking cool tends to wear off.
