That was the day the tyre was fitted and hadn't even been ridden, the chain was too tight....till I put a longer one on for the 41t sprocket.:frown:

 

Yea could see it had not even rolled.

Does the lockwire add power or cudos?

 

Neither but....but it makes less mess when the sprocket nuts start falling off n the sprocket overtakes you!

Ahh, i forgot, its a ducati, and things do tend to fall off!

 

I used to lock wire myself onto the bike,always felt that little bit safer.

I've Just asked a mate who works in the aviation industry, he said you can get it in just about any colour and he gets his fancy stuff from

Wire supplier of stainless steel wire-lock wire and safety wire-aluminum wire-brass wire-copper wire-medical wire-fishing wire-fishing leaders

But they're in America.

He's gonna look for uk suppliers when he goes back to work.
