Ducati 1199 Panigale Prices

  1. hi guys

If been thinking about converting my 1199 in to a track bike. If I don't convert the bike, I think I'll be selling. Iv been looking online at used Panigale prices but they seem to be all over the place. Not to sure what I should be asking.

So my bike is a 2013 ABS model in red with 960miles from new. I'm the second owner (was a pre reg bike from my local dealer). Iv fitted a DP tail tidy, DP front mudguard & DP carbon rear hugger. How much do you guys think I should put it up for. I'm thinking around £13,250. Does that sound about right?

  2. Wrong time of year to be selling really. Its unlikely that many people will be willing to drop in excess of £10k on a bike just in time to keep it in the shed all winter...unless, its perceived as a bargain. Just looking at the trade mags, £12,000 seems to be about the going rate

  3. I had been thinking about holding on to it untill the new year. Not too sure really what to do. Track it or sell it on lol

  4. Its a very expensive track tool. I've heard that they don't crash very well either

  5. The ones at 14k and above have been for sale for ages. The only ones that seem to shift are priced slightly lower than the norm. As a comparison, I paid 13350 in July for mine new (6 miles on clock , registered 10 days ) from a dealer.

  6. Beware the 1299 is coming so it'll drop again...

  7. I dont think 1299 will make a massive impact as i bet they will be more tha the £16250 that a 1199 should be.

  8. Blimey, that was a good price. Did you have to negotiate hard for that? Or was that the list price?

  9. Id been offered one at 13250 but it was miles away, so local dealer matched it all but 100 quid. Sold my 848 to another dealer as local ducati dealer was £500 worse than just selling it to a normal deale so had the money ready to buy
