    This wasn't in Scotland.

  4. going by Davey's story's it would be safer to wrestle a herd of pissed of elephants than compete in those events.

  5. Will be slinging the boards in the car and heading to Nendaz / Verbier as soon as the turkey indigestion passes on Boxing Day..

  13. I've got a snowboard holiday planned to Morzine in January. However I'm hoping to get to the east coast of the USA on business this winter and will do some sliding there too with a bit of luck. :)

And in March I shall hopefully be sliding in Turkey on the project we're building right now :upyeah:

  14. Les Arc for me, 2nd week in Jan. Only got into it 2 years ago at age 51, wish I'd done it years ago! Learned in Bulgaria, came straight back and booked a weekend in Glenshee, got there, closed due to too much snow!! Drove over to Glencoe and had a great time skiing in a blizzard! Bring on the obsessive watching of the snow reports!!!

  15. Hopefully we are off to Tignes for a cheeky snowboarding trip in feb

  16. Glencoe Mountain.

Great views and it can be everything from fabulous to downright life threatening, depending on the day.

Coz I can hire a wee car drive there ski an afternoon and drive back in time for dinner. Just too handy

Need to try some of the other resorts in Jockland but that would probably involve an overnight or hiring a helicopter

  17. Hiring a helicopter sounds good :upyeah:

  18. you can stay in my shed if you like. who says jocks aint generous.

  19. Chinnialon nr Le Grand Bornand. But only in summer as thats where my mates chalet is. Where we use as a base for our alpine trips. In the summer. I have zero interest in skiing. Not my thing.

  20. Austria for me. none of those impolite Frenchies or Eyties queue jumping (still get the boarders who think they have a right to queue jump wherever they are, though - the more t bar lifts the better, keeps the damned waddling boarders at bay).
