Is it just me and my childish streak, but I find the 'Viz' magazine hilarious. I've read it since I was a teenager. I don't know how they think some of the stuff up but it never fails to crack me up. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a slightly warped sense of humour.. A typical example
I remember when I was at college and we discovered Viz on a trip to London. Our local newsagents didn't stock it, so we went to London frequently and picked up a copy while we were there. Meanwhile we used to go into the local newsagent 1 by 1 several times a week and ask for Viz, eventually they started stocking it.
They have a great letters page too - one went something like this "My wife's claim to fame is that 40 years ago,before marriage, she once went out with Bryan Ferry. Well if Mr Ferry is reading this by any chance, he is welcome to have her back."
Definitely not you mate. I'm exactly the same. I'm 50 now and still piss myself laughing at some of the stuff I read in Viz. I've got extracts from Viz plastered all over my beer fridge. Ace!

Exactly!. In this world of political correctness it's good to have a laugh about things you really shouldn't but at the end of the day that is what humour is. It's about having a laugh about something at someone else's expense. I'm not racist, sexist or discriminate against anything or anyone, if I see humour I'll take the mick whether your black, white, Chinese, Japanese or have two heads!. After all I've been the subject of amusement all my life as a bald headed farmer and I've heard them all - and some of them are good!:Happy:
A real part of my youth. Because it was Newcastle based, we seemed to have it for years before everyone else cottoned onto it. It still makes me laugh now.
On a similar theme, I have Rogers profanisaurus as an app on the iPad, it's the best £1.79 you can spend. It will send me a daily profanity that puts a smile on my face every single day.

Does anyone remember the "documentary" about Viz, many years ago ? I've still got in on video ( yes, it was that long ago ). Keith Chegwin, wandering along the side of the Tyne, picking up tennis balls and junk to sell to kids, and complaining that their "Cheggers has no talent, shock revalation" headline had ruined his career... Hilarious...
