Totally enjoyed that, the only problem was that it seemed to be over too quickly.
My favourite line was pertaining to the Ducati team "with their tools laid out on tables like a car boot sale" brilliant.

 

fav line,, " are you married,, no,, ok see you later " !!:Happy:

 

Did they say how many bikes were in the "exhibition class" ? ...was it just guy and the japanese bloke

 

They didn't say but there were 5 entries in that class

an excellent result from all aspects,,, esp on a bike that would not take full throttle !!

 

It would be interesting if they listed the vehicles - you would think his class was the highest class for bikes but loads beat him including a 675 Triumph. I know it wasn't fuelling well but he should have taken his road race bike surely.

 

His bike would have been a lot quicker unblown, i.e. without the turbo. The turbocharger was just a daft gimmick for television, surely.

 

Quicker between the corners and if it had been working better he could have flow further off the edge of the mountain :Happy:

 

in the prog it stated that the turbo was to offset the lack of atmosphere at the top of the hill

 

Yep I am a bit surprised that the bike never went on a Dyno, how would he setup the map if it was not on a Dyno? If it did go on Dyno then they would have spotted the fuelling issue.

 

if you'd been there it would have been purring like a kitten : )
