  5. Exige, couldn't make up my mind about your post: like, agree, useful, thanks, funny? :) Spoiled for choices, wasn't I?

Sorry Mongoose, I couldn't sell just the end can, at least not without asking stupid money for it. In all fairness, the bike DOES sound fabulous with it... Much better than the standard can

  6. Lovely example. Good luck with the sale

  7. Thanks Gru but was half expecting that. I've been looking for one of these to fit to my 749 but every time when one comes up there just way over priced. Matter of interest though can you just fit the muffler or do you have to change the lot?

  8. As far as I know, yes; I haven't done the mod myself, that's how I got the bike.
But that's why you see some bikes advertised as having Termi end can / Termi half system (or asymmetrical) / Termi full system (or symmetrical). The latter have had pipes changed as well, with the full system being a 2-1-2 configuration that equalizes pressure and larger diameter (57mm if I remember correctly, for the 749/999 family).
I'm sure more technically minded people on here will be able to provide a definitive answer / correct me if I'm mistaken.

  9. ware where all these 749 ducs when i started looking 4years ago?

  10. Hi, is the bike still for sale?

  11. Hi Steve,

Yes it is. Mileage is now 15488

  12. Hi Gru

    Just messaged you

  13. LOL... "Are we there yet?"..... Give the man a chance to see it running, will ya? :p

  14. Let me know if still up for grabs

  15. It still is. With a little luck I should have a new battery for it tomorrow - I tried to start it yesterday and the battery had died

  16. Lovely bike mate, very clean. Is the seat the standard one covered, or a whole new item?

  17. Thanks Pavey, it is nice, runs great and the only reason I'm selling it is so that I can eventually get a carbon 749R.

Seat is standard one covered. When I got the bike the seat had already been covered with alcantara but from black it had become grey and faded. So I had it re-covered this summer.

FWIW, bike now has had a new battery fitted

  18. I just scraped my jaw on the ground, thats a stunning machine

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  19. ... Well go on then, treat yourself for Christmas! :D
