Err... you've mentioned in your first post that this bike has full Termis... I hope you didn't pay premium for that because that's just slip-ons not full system. Other than this... really nice machine!
As for the mowhawk that's stopping difference is when ur going out is people see you its halfed the amount of cars pulling out on me and the women love it its all to a tactical advantage
That is the Termi slip on which comes with ecu and air filter, I bought one for my streetfighter. If you go to Ducati.com and look at the accessories for the streetfighter you will see images there. Chris.
Chris your a star thank you just phoned them yeh it's just cans and link pipes so there's another x amount off the price i was told it had a full system
That's how full system pipes look like. I believe that ECU is also different. But if you managed to get some money back then it's all good
Can't find coatings for the headers anywhere anybody know the about price? The ecu and the filter has been changed to suit
Hi Sparky. Nice bike. Good to see a white one! Can they fit the original throttle assy back on? I've got a 1089SF and i really don't think it needs a quick action throttle!!! I could be wrong but it looks to me like it's got one odd Renthal grip on it too? And the way them throttle cables are routed looks quite odd. Check out a stocker and you'll see what i mean. Std ones run parallel with the bars. If they can't get the std throttle ask them why not? When do you get it?
What do you mean coatings bud? Tell you what imho looks fatastic on any Ducati and I have done it to all mine... Take the exhaust right off (over the winter perhaps) and spend a lot of time polishing all the shiney parts on a buffer. On my Streetfighter I put a lot of time and effort into polishing all the dodgy looking welds until they were flat and put lots of effort into shining all the stainless pipe work, it really comes up beautifully. I often get comments on the exhausts on my bikes. One guy was convinced I've had the full Termi system on my Multystrada chromed. Of course the front header pipe does gradually get ropey again but I find the more time you spend on the buffer the longer the nice finnish lasts. I have a big 8 inch bench grinder  to which I fit the large buffing wheels from Machine Mart. It is a lot of effort and I am sure some would question it but for me the results are worth every hour spent plus if you do it during the crap weather it helps pass the time. Hope this helps... Chris.
Are you saying that cars see you more because you have a blue mohawk on your lid and that girls like it?
I had my Diavel termi system ceramic coated satin black by a company in Warrington, the Ducati dealer in Preston sorted it while I'm away. If you look on the internet there are companies that do all kinds of coatings. Price depends on what you want doing, type of coating, whether you want inside and outside done, if you send pictures via email most should be able to give you a quote. Just google exhaust ceramic coating and the area you live.
Chris I've got an 8 inch polisher for the 6 british bikes I have here and for the restoration work I do Heres my TLR tuck 2 year to build with all the goodies what was on there Great bike loved it And the iPhone takes over sometimes with the predictive text i ment can't find the costings for the termi headers lol
