  5. For want of getting some

Never got a point since started driving

Got caught speeding and been pulled over numerous times - must be the feminine charm - move me to the smug thread Matty :;):

  6. I once knew a pretty and bubbly blond secretary who got away with loads of police stops...until she met a butch lesbian* "ball breaker"..got some points that day....(Ms. Ball Breaker...didn't like blonds, especially those that played on it).

    * The exact sexuality was never discussed, but the No 2 hair cut, square jaw, zero make up and near zero feminine features were sending a clear message....me not female.
Desperate Dan with slightly less stubble...may not the Cow pie ....but something pie

  7. They have just relaeased some figures that show women do in fact get away with drink driving more than men

  8. Indeed that's why I always insist the wife drives when we're shitfaced.

  9. i had couple of drams last night, with the new limit starting to day, i was a bit concerned this morning.

  10. Thought you were all for it Finm?!

Well, I hope the scots govt have thought about the wider impact. If its tht easto be over the limit, unless you are not driving the whole day tomorrow or until the evening, dont have a bottle of wine or 5 pints, so there goes the entire alcohol industry as well as making many very miserable scots

On tv they were pullong loads of drivers over to test them. Roadside random jobbie. What reason do they have to do this? I thiught they had to have reasonable reason to pull someone then a reasonable suspician to get the tool out..

  11. Ive little sympathy for people caught drink driving. (Actually I have none at all) We all know the rules and we should all understand why we shouldnt. I hope they introduce it down here too. But I do wish they'd be as zealous catching mobile phone users as much as they are at catching drunk drivers.

  15. I have been flashed numerous times :;):

However only one ever found its way to me (was a hire car) and I went to naughty school instead of points

  18. What you need to understand about Surrey is that there are many rich and influential "old boys" living there, who probably go drinking with the magistrates. Surrey is many very ancient towns and traditional country pubs in the middle of nowhere. Pretty much every one going to these pubs is getting there by car, and then driving home down pitch black empty country roads at 2am after a lock-in session, which may have included the local cop.
Not that I'm singling out The Fox inn
Vintage Inn - The Fox Coulsdon Common
And not that I ever did that with my mates when we were 16 years old and had just got our driving licenses, or crashed hideously when racing drunk on the way home.
    No, not at all.
