  2. Easiest way. Email to your iPhone then open in iBooks. Alternatively use safari on iPhone to download.

  6. Your right ..

She just came home and unusually for her made me a cuppa bringing it down to my workshop.. As soon as the door opened.. It wasn't "hi how are you?" It was... "What's that doing down here?"....

I'm sure there's a mole on this forum!

  9. Yes. the easiest way to get files from computer to iPhone or vice versa is often to just mail them to yourself.
    Simples.

  10. I agree. But with a file that big having it on the cloud is often a better option

  11. How big is it? Surely it's only a pdf. If it's more than 5 Mb you probably can't mail it at all. But a 5 Mb pdf is a sizeable pdf. Seeing as the phone will be at least 16Gb, it's really neither here nor there.

  12. Just saying what I'd do. I tend to put stuff on Dropbox so I can have it on the phone, computer or ipad. Just makes life easy when you need it. I guess you can email to yourself then open the email on any of the above.....same thing really

  13. It's 253Mb

  14. Yep. You won't be emailing that anywhere.
    Dropbox it is, then.

  15. if they're pdf's your other option is ibooks- put them on ibooks on the mac and sync with ibooks app on the phone or iPad. :)

  16. Yes, I'd try putting it in iBooks and also getting an iPad to then view it on - put it in your Xmas
    List :)
