I've got a book, Aero Engined Racing Cars at Brooklands, by Bill Boddy.

Both these cars feature in it, its a bit dry, but for a petrol head interested in both aviation and anything wheeled with an engine, its fascinating.

A lot of these cars were commissioned by the gentry, with too much time and money on their hands. People talk about "Adrenalin Junkies" today as if its a new concept. Pfffffff, being going on since man came out the caves and maybe before that.

Some brilliant, hair brained and hair raising stuff.
